The Board of Trustees met in regular adjourned session
at ?:00 P.M.
Present at roll call; Colllnd, Barnes, Clark and Roach.
Absent; Case.
Trustee Collins offered a Resolttion and moved its
adoption being " A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING AND•CONFIRMING THE RE-
ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF SAN GABRIEL
AVENUE."
The Revolution was read by the,Clerk.
The Resolution was seconded by Clark.
Roll call; Ayes; Collins, Barnes, Clark, and Roach.
Noes; None.
Absent; Case.
A Communication was read from R.B.Demmitt asking per-
mission to lay a pipeline to conduct water from the west
d
side of McKeever Avenue to Eleventh Street, East on Eleventh
Street to Azusa Avenue, therce North.on Azusa Avenue to the
City Limits, also permission to uoe power for pumping.
Communications were also read from Neuner Company,
League of California Municipalities, and J.C.Whitelesey.
Mr W.C.Hendricks was before the Board in behalf of the
Citrus Assn, regarding the Franchise that the Pacific
Electric in asking for in the alley between the Santa Fe
Railway and Ninth Street, stating that he had been inW
formed by the Pacific Electric that the franchise must be
granted in the name of the Pacific Electric and not in the
name of the Citrus Assn.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance
being "AN ORDINANCE CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD

IN THE CITY OF AZWSA.ON THE 9+ 1 F19A'1 1914, AND
SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY THE PRH-

POSITIOND OF INCURRING BONDED DEBTS IN THE SUMS OF $35,000,00
and $20,000.00 FOR THE ACQUISITION COASTRUCTION AND COMPLET-
ION BY THE SAID CITY OF AZUSA,' OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL fMPROVE-
MENTS, DESIGNATING THE ELECTION PRECINCT AND POLLfNG'PLACE:
AND APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS FOR SAID ELECTION", be
taken up for the first reading,
The Ordinance was read by the Cle$k.
Moved by Collins, seconded by Clark that the Board go
into'executive session to determine who shall be the'offi-
cers in the coming bond election.
Motion carried. '
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Collins that the Election
Ordiimance be declared read for the first time and taken up
for the second reading.
Motion carried.
The Ordinance was read by the Clerk.
Moved by Collins, seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance
be declared read for the second time and laid over until next
meeting.
Motion carried.
