Azusa, California, February 24th,1.914.
The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:15 P.M.
Present at roll call; Trustees Collins, Barnes, Clark,
Case and Roach.
The minutes of February 9th and February 16th,1914 were
read and approved.
Frank Roberto was before the Board asking what could be
done in regard to the oil coming down Pasadena Avenue from
the Ice House.
The Public Works Committee was instructed to take up the
matter with the Ice and Cold Storage Company.
Moved by Case, seconded by Collins that the Azusa Ice
and Cold Storage Company be notified to take care of their
oil and not let it get out into the streets.
Motion carried.
l6 Trustee Case reported that the Railroad Commission vas
to give the City of Azusa a hearing on the who le-eale rate
c.-
_� of Electricity from the Pacific Light and Power Compnny.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Case that Attorney Fred L.
Baker be secured to appear before the Railroad Commission
in behalf of the City of Azusa on March 4th,1.914.
Motion carried.
�- Predident Roach stated that A.L.Meier wished a ninty
q)"- � day extension on his work. on Crescent Drive.

time be granted.

City Engineer in regard to the Gutters, sidewalk and Curb be
accepted.
Motion cartied.
The City Attorney was instructed to include a clause in

the Health Ordinance prohibiting the dumping, of cull oranges
w ° inside the City limits.
Trustee Collins offered a Resolution and moved its
adoption being, "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTERS OF THE
CITY OF A'ZUSA, OHDER$NG LOCAL IM 11,011 iMENT ON SIXTH STREET IN
TIi!; SAID CITY OF AZUSA."
The Resolution was read by the Clerk.
The Resolution was seconded by Clark.

Mored by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance
be declared read for the first time and taken un for, the
second reading.
Motion carried,

Moved by Case, seconded by Collins that the Ordinance be
declared read for the second time and laid over until next
meeting.
Motion carried,
Trustee Clark asked to be excused which was granted by
President Roach.
Moved by Collins, seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance
being "AN ORDINANCE CF THIE CITY OF AZUSA PROVIDING A SYSTEM
FOR THE ASSESSMENT, LEVY ANI) COL7.ECTION OF TAXES," be taken
up for the third reading and nut on its final passage.
