Present at roll call; Collins, Barnes, Clark, Roach. Don ]i. Petty was sworn into office as Trustee of the City of Azusa. K President Roach stated that the Pacific Electric switch on Ninth Street running to the packing House was left open by the Pacific Electric, Railway Co, Moved by Collins, Seconded by Barnes that the Clerk notify the Pacific Electric Railway Company to protect this switch. Motion carried, Engineer Gierlich reported on the water way in Block 32, and stated that he considered that Mr Myatt and Mr Roson trouble private affair and not City business. Moved by Collins, seconded by Petty that the returns of may, _­ the Municipal Election of April, 13,1914, be opened, and Q -.Q WV Iq G1 canvassed and telleve appointed. ' • Motion carried. President Roach, made a short talk thanking the, old member:; of the Board for their support for the last four years. Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried. Guy A Thompson, Trustee Fotir year term, The Board was then called to order by the City Clerk C,W.Bouldin,and nominations declared in order for the nomination of President of the Board of Trustees, A. Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that Trustee Gb Iline be appointed President of the Board, Motion Carried. After a short speecg from President Collins he appointed the followings Committees.
