MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
' SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY, JULY 25, 2005 — 7:50 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in special session at the above date and time In the
Azusa Light and Water Conference Room, 729 N. Azusa Ave.
Mayor Chagnon called the meeting to order. Call to Order

PRESENT: DIRECTORS: HARDISON, CARRILLO, ROCHA, HANKS, CHAGNON
ABSENT: DIRECTORS: NONE
ALSO PRESENT: Also Present
City Attorney Martinez, City Manager Delach, Assistant City Manger Person, Assistant Director
Community Development Onaga, Economic and Community Development Director Hightower,
City Clerk Mendoza, Acting Deputy City Clerk Hernandez.
A workshop on the Azusa Pacific University Specific plan and Proposed Development Azusa Pacific
Agreement was held, in which the following issues were discussed: Specific Plan
Workshop
' City Manager Delach, gave a chronology of events and an explanation on the proposal.
Mr. Ross Selvidge, of I(osmont and Associates gave a summary of the fiscal impact of
the project.
Mr. Mark Dickerson, General Counsel for Azusa Pacific University, assisted by staff
members, also of Azusa Pacific University, gave council a presentation on their current
involvement with the Azusa Community.
Discussion was held among Councilmembers, staff and Mr. Dickerson on this Issue.
City Manger Delach Informed Council and the Public, that a scheduled Public Hearing will be
held at the regular meeting of the council on August 15, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. in the Civic
Auditorium.
The City Council recessed to Closed Session at 6:35 p.m. to discuss the following: Adj Clsd Sess

Title: Administrative Services Director — Chief Financial Officer Emplyment
The City Council reconvened at 10:10 p.m.

ICity Attorney Martinez, advised that there was no reportable action taken in Closed Session.
