MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 2006 — 8:06 A.M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in adjourned regular session at the above date and
time in the Azusa Light and Water Conference Room, 729 N. Azusa Ave.
Mayor Chagnon called the meeting to order.

Mr. Jorge Rosales addressed Council expressing two concerns: Affordable Housing and more J. Rosales
Council meetings be televised. Comments
Each department head summarized Its accomplishments and goals. Lengthy discussion was Workshop
held regarding technology, economic development, projects i.e. Block 36, Rosedale, Lengthy
Downtown North, Foothill Shopping center, and Block 37. Discussion was held regarding Discussion
infrastructure and the possibility of Cooling Centers, Sewer Master Plan, Water Treatment
Plant, and Pavement Management Plan, among other items. With regard to organizational
goals, the following was discussed: staffing/budgeting, logistics, Group Wise versus Outlook,
Bitech upgrade, Personnel recruitment and hiring system, update formal policies, ethics
training, Code Enforcement, energy conservation, records management, legal requirements for
safety, and cable television.
IIt was consensus of City Council to adjourn
