The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:40 P.M.
Present at roll call; Barnes, Thompson, Clark,
Absent; Petty, Collins. ,
Moved by Barnes, seconded,by Thompson that Trustee Clafk
act as temporary chairman.
Motion carried.

The minutes of June 29th and July 6th,191¢, were.read,and j

approved.
Eommunication was read from Dr ¢.A.Ellis presenting his bill
for rendering medical services,to I.B.Barnee.
The.matter was referred to the State Cpmpeneation Insurance
Fund.
Trustee Petty now present.
Communication was read from the State Compenpatlon,Insurance
Fund stating that as yet they had not received tjie $126.00. .rAa4 0.-,,.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Petty that the Clerk forward

$125.00 to the State Compensation Insurance Fund.

City Attorney Steele presented a deed from the Gants Fe to the

Santa Fe right-of-wayd.'
The deed was referred to the City Attornep and City Engineer
to be chocked up.
The matter of .immediately placing culverts and gutters under
the Santa Fe tracks on Pasadena, Avenue, Soldano Avenue, Dalton
Avenue, Alameda,Avenue, Azusa Avenue, and San Gabriel Avenue was
referred to the Public works Committee.

Mr Maurice Jones asked for a four day vacation the second week
in August.
Mored by Barnes, seconded by Petty that Mr Jones be granted
this vacation.
Motion carried.
Trustee Barnes offered a Resolution and moved its adoption
being "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES PROVIDING FOR THE

TRANSFER OF CERTAIN FUNDS."
The Resolution was read by the Clerk, and seconded
by
Thompson .
