Azusa California, Sept 21st,1919.
The Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:30.P.M.
Present at roll call; Barnes, Thompson, Petty, Clark, Collins.
The minutes of the last mr;oting were read and corrected to

"Moved by Petty,seconded by Barnes that the City Attorne$
a and the City Engineer prepare proper proceedings tinder the
e�� .�r'" Improvement Act of 1911, for the Construction of the Following

Culverts to -wit;
% That re-inforced concrete culverts be constructed
on Ninth Street on both sides of San Gabriel Ave, Azusa,
Alameda, Dalton, Soldano, and the west side of Pasadena Avenue,
and<,on the east side of Azusa Avenue, at the Santa Fe R.H.
crossing .
That corrugated ingot ironpipe culverts be constructed
across the Santa Fe R.H. Coe. Right-of-way on both sides of
San Gabriel Avenue, Alameda, Dalton, Soldano and on the went
Bide of Pasadena Ave.
That re-inforced concrete and corrugated iron culverts be
constructed across Centre.Street oil both sides of Alameda,
Dalton, and the east side.of Soldano Ave, and that the culverts;
on the west side of Soldano be completed, and thatnre-inforced

concrete culvert with a Blab top be constructed on the west
side of Pasadena Ave, across Centre St."
Applications were read from T.S.Oki and MrB Elsie Stevens
asking for the renewal of the poolroom license.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Thompson that the licensee
be granted.
Motion carried.

City Attorney Steele reported on the Weed Ordinance stating
it v+as possible to pass a Resolution for the abatement of weeds
growing on any public street, and including sidewalks thereon,
but that tame would not take rare of the weeds on vacant lots.
Trustee Clark offered a Resolution and moved its adoption

The Resolution was read by the Clerk and seconded by Barnes.
Roll call; Ayes; Barnes, Thompson, Petty, Clark, Collins.
Hoes; None,
Absent; None.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Thompson that the Building
Ordinance be taken up for the second reading.
Motion carried.
The Ordinance was read by the Clerk.
Trustee Clark stated that J.VJ,Calvert would like to have Angeleno

Avenue vacated fn`om 5th to 6th Street.
The matter was referred to the Public Vorks Committee.
