The Board of Trustees net in regular adjourned meeting at
7:00 P.M.
President Collins appointed Trustee Thompson at act no
Clerk Pro Tem.
Present at roll call; Barnes, Thompson, Petty, Clark, Collins.
Application was read from F.D.Streshly asking for a
renewal of his pool -room license.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Petty that the license be
granted.
Motion carried.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Thompson that the Ordinance
being "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD ON TRUS17,'P:S OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THF, CITY OF AZUSA
ON THE 24th DAY OF OCTOBER,1914, AND SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED
VOTERS OF SAID CITY, THE PROPOSITION OF INCURRING A BONDED MESTED-
NESS IN THE SUM OF THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND ($35,000.00) DOLLARS FOR
THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, AND COMPLETION OF LAND OR LANDS FOR
TIM, PURPOSE OF DEVELOPINGr WATER THEREON: OF WATER AND WATER RIGHTS,
OF WHATSOEVER KIND OR NATURE: OF ALI, NECESSARY MACHINERY AND EQUIP-
MENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WATER UPON SAID LAND OR LANDS: OF WELLS
Olt OTHER MEANS OR MATTERS OF PRODUCING OR PROCURING WATER: OF

The Ordinance was read.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Clark that the Ordinance be
declared read for the, first reading, and taken up for the second
reading.
Motion carried.
The Ordinance was read.
Moved by Petty ,seconded by Barnes that the Ordinance be
declared read for the second time, and laid over until next meeting.

Trustee Petty was excused from the meeting.
Mr C.;W.Baker was before the Board and; made dcomplaint against the
dog kennels maintained by Mr Graf at his residence on South Azusa Ave..
Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that, the matter be referred to
the City Attorney, to be taken up at once..
Motion carried.
Moved by Barnes, seconded by Thompson that the Ordinance being
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE 130ARD OF TRUSTRES ON THE CITY OF AZUSA, ESTAB-
LISHING THE OFFICE OF PLUMBING INSPECTOR, FIXING HIS CO11PN.NSATION,
DEF'I&ING HIS DUTIES AND PROVIDING. REGULATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
AND INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING AND IiOUSE DRAINAGE IN SAID CITY OF AZUSA.
AND REPEALING ALI, ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEHEViITH," be taken up
for the second reading. .

Moved by Barnes, seconded by Thompson that the Ordinance be
declared read for the second time, and taken up for the third reading.

Trustee Thompson said that the business.men would like to u*Q•� �� �'
have the alley sprinkled between San Gabriel Avenue and Azusa Avenue,
and Azusa Avenue and Alameda Avenue.
The matter was referred to the Public Works Committee with
power to net.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the meeting adjourn
until Monday October 5th,1914 at 7:39 P.M.
