Present at roll calf.; Barnes, Petty, Clark, Collins. Absent; 'Thompson. The contract between F.C.Roberts and the City of Azusa was, read by the Clerk. Trustee Thompson now present. y7, Trustee Clark offered a Resolution and moved,its adoption "RESOLUTION mF THE BOARD OF TRUSTLLS OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, Mi— PLOYING A CONSULTING ENGINEER, FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CTION AND; I _ I CONSTRUCTION OF A IMNICIPAL LIGHT AND WATER SYSTEU, A14D AUTHORIZING i THE ENTERING INTO AND EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR THAT PURPOSE,." The Resolution was read by the•Clerk and seconded by Barnes. I Roll call.; Barnes, Thompson, Petty, Clark, Collins. Noes; Mone. Absent; None. Uoved by Clark, seconded by Barnes that the bids on the culverts on San Gabriel•j4venue, Azusa Avenue, Alameda Avenue, Dalton Avenue, Soldano Avenue, and Pasadena Avenue, be opened, read and publicly declared. The minutes of January lltih,12th, and'14th 1915 were read and approved. Connmznication was -read from Fathgr Geary, asking permission to remove some of the pine trees in front of his property on Dalton Ave. !loved by Barnes, seconded by Clark that the permis:,ion be granted. !motion carried. A petition from the property ovmers on Orange Avenue,asl•_ing for the grading and claying on that Atenu6, was read by the Clerk. Moved by Thompson, seconded by Barnes that -the matter be laid over until. the ne:ct regular meeting. 'motion carried. Communication was read from Miss Alice Robinson asking for a permit to build a tent house. Moved by Barnes, seconded b -Y Thompson that the natter be referred to the City Attorney and the building Inspector. ; notion carried. Ir 71-.E.Dougherty was 16efore the Board stating that he ylould dike to have the Council have the pepper trees'prunedo so as to get rid of the scale,. The matter was referred to the Public Works Cymmittee. Moved by Clark, seconded by 1'honroson that the Ordinance beilh.
